Uninvited Guests nos propone una cápsula del tiempo que se abrirá dentro de 150 años. To Those Born Later (International Collection) es una performance interactiva online que reunirá grupos de diferentes países para discutir qué debería meterse en esa cápsula del tiempo. ¿Qué te gustaría preservar para los hijos de los hijos de los hijos de tus hijos? ¿Si solo pudieras elegir una foto de tu móvil, cuál sería? Si solo pudieras preservar un sonido del mundo de ahora, cuál elegirías? Y qué mensaje te gustaría enviar a los futuros habitantes del mundo? Ven a preservar algo tuyo, de tu comunidad y tu cultura, para aquellos que no han nacido aún. Cada show es diferente, hecho por y para su público. El contenido de la cápsula del tiempo se elige por el público de cada encuentro y mas tarde se añade al archivo creciente online. Como parte del programa Perform Europe, el público de Bilbao, Budapest y Belgrado participará simultáneamente en una experiencia única. Te reunirás online para intercambiar y compartir tu legado, desde vuestras diferentes ciudades, vidas y culturas, para las generaciones futuras. Originalmente comisionado por Beaford Arts Centre, con el apoyo de Arts Council England, el Heritage Lottery Fund, el Digital Preservation Coalition, Pervasive Media Studio, University of Bristol, Bristol Ferment, ArtsDepot, Trinity Community Arts, Barbican OpenLabs, y el the Albany. To Those Born Later forma parte del projecto Performing Futures: Uninvited Guests’ Billennium and To Those Born Later, una gira en remoto en colaboración con IKUSEEARTE (España), Students’ City Cultural Center (Serbia) y Artopolis Association (Hungría) de abril a junio 2022. Perform Europe es un proyecto financiado por la Unión Europea que tiene como objetivo repensar maneras en que las producciones de las artes escénicas atraviesen fronteras de manera mas inclusiva, sostenible y equilibrada probando nuevas prácticas de giras y distribución y aportando recomendaciones de políticas para el futuro esquema de apoyos de la Unión Europea. Se trata de un programa de 18 meses de duración que incluye una fase de investigación, el lanzamiento de la plataforma digital, test del esquema de apoyo y el diseño de políticas a recomendar. Perform Europe está financiado por el Programa Europa Creativa de la Unión Europea y gestionado por un Consorcio de cinco organizaciones: la Red Internacional para las Artes Escénicas Contemporáneas (IETM), la Asociación Europea de Festivales (EFA), Circostrada, la Red Europea de Casas de Danza (EDN) e IDEA Consult. Part of the Perform Europe Program Uninvited Guests are creating a digital time capsule to be opened in 150 years. To Those Born Later (International Collection) is an interactive online performance, bringing together groups from different countries to discuss what should go into that time capsule. What do you want to save for our children’s children’s children’s children? If you could only choose one photo from your phone, which would it be? If you could only preserve one sound from the world now, what would you choose? And what message would you want to send to future inhabitants of the world? Join us in preserving something of you, your community and culture, for those who are yet to be born. Every show is different, made with and for its audience. The content of the time capsule is chosen by those in each meeting and added to the growing online archive. As part of the Perform Europe Program, audiences from Bilbao, Budapest and Belgrade will participate simultaneously in a unique experience. You will come together online to exchange and share what you want to pass down, from your different cities, lives and cultures, to future generations. Perform Europe is an EU-funded project aimed to rethink how performing arts works are presented across borders in a more inclusive, sustainable and balanced way by testing new touring and distribution practices and providing policy recommendations for a future EU support scheme. This 18-month journey includes a research phase, launching a digital platform, testing a support scheme, and designing policy recommendations. Perform Europe is funded by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union and co-managed by a Consortium of 5 organisations: IETM – International network for contemporary performing arts, the European Festivals Association (EFA), Circostrada, EDN – European Dancehouse Network, and IDEA Consult.
