“Maitasun Historietako Dohaintzen Bulegoa” bulego ireki ibiltaria da, emaile boluntarioen maitasun istorio errealak biltzen dituena eta edozein arrazoirengatik behar dituzten pertsonei ematen dizkiena – Adibidez, asiloa edo lan eta bizileku baimenak lortzeko ezkondu nahi direnei, baina ez dira benetako bikoteak eta prozedura burokratikoetan maitasun-istorio bat irudikatu behar dute. Prozesua hainbat nazionalitatetako bikoteek ezkondu nahi dutenean – Batez ere horietako bat atzerritarra denean – Egiten diren elkarrizketa ofizialen formatua da. The Office of Love Story Donations is an open travelling office which collects real love stories from voluntary donors and transfers them on to any person who needs them for any reason – for example, to those people who want to get married to obtain asylum or work and residence permits, but who are not “real couples” and need to portray a love story in bureaucratic procedures. The process borrows from the format of official interviews conducted when couples from different nationalities want to get married – primarily when one of them is a foreigner. In these interviews, which verify if a couple is a “real couple”, each one of the lovers is asked the same set of questions separately. Afterwards the consistency of the answers is checked. In the case of the Office of Love Story Donations, the interviews are conducted with the audience, to the volunteer couples who want to donate their story. The donated stories which pass the test are filed and released freely and free of charge to the people who request them, as well as in different file versions: exhibition, publication, video installation, etc. The Office of Love Story Donations, provides the receptors with credible love stories and checks the consistency of the answers of both parties prêt-à-porter.
