\nBillennium<\/strong> antzeztutako bisita gidatua da, baina ez leku historikoetara joateko, etorkizuneko Bilbora baizik. Han, denboran zehar bidaiatuko duzu, zientzia fikziozko eszenatoki utopiko eta distopikoetara abiatzeko. Arkitektura futurista begi-bistan izango duzu, hainbat mundutako soinuak entzun bitartean. Etorkizuneko arkeologo gisa azalduko zaizkigun interpretariez lagunduta, gailu mugikor bat erabiliko duzu etorkizuna zer izan daitekeen ikusteko. Bira biharko hiri-eredua elkarrekin diseinatzeko eta egungo arkitekturari gainjarrita imajinatzen dituzun eraikinak ikusteko aukerarekin amaituko da, RA delakoari (Errealitate Areagotuari) esker. \nBillennium<\/strong> is a theatrical guided tour, not of historic sites, but of the future of Bilbao, on which you walk through time to the locations of utopian and dystopian science fictions. Future architecture appears before your eyes, and you hear what different worlds might sound like. Accompanied by performers as archaeologists of the future, you carry mobile devices that visualize traces of what could be. The tour concludes with an opportunity to design tomorrow\u2019s city together and see the buildings you imagine layered onto the architecture of today using AR (Augmented Reality). Multichannel audio immerses you in sci-fi location sounds and speculative architecture is drawn in realtime over the existing buildings.<\/p>\n

In a city that has undergone rapid change in recent years, Uninvited Guests (UK) and Duncan Speakman (UK) collaborate with you to imagine possible futures for Bilbao. Science-fiction storytelling, a live, filmic soundtrack and AR inspire participants\u2019 imaginations and enable reflection on redevelopments. and urban plans..<\/p>\n

Originally commissioned by Watershed and University of Bristol\u2019s Smart Internet Lab for Layered Realities, 2018.<\/p>\n

Billennium is part of the project Performing Futures: Uninvited Guests\u2019 Billennium and To Those Born Later, an online virtual tour in collaboration with IKUSEEARTE (Spain), Students\u2019 City Cultural Center (Serbia) and Artopolis Association (Hungary) from April to June 2022.<\/p>\n

Perform Europe<\/a> is an EU-funded project aimed to rethink how performing arts works are presented across borders in a more inclusive, sustainable and balanced way by testing new touring and distribution practices and providing policy recommendations for a future EU support scheme. This 18-month journey includes a research phase, launching a digital platform, testing a support scheme, and designing policy recommendations.<\/p>\n

Perform Europe is funded by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union and co-managed by a Consortium of 5 organisations: IETM \u2013 International network for contemporary performing arts<\/a>, the European Festivals Association (EFA)<\/a>, Circostrada<\/a>, EDN \u2013 European Dancehouse Network<\/a>, and IDEA Consult<\/a>.<\/p>\n
